Description
The Tempo-800 Hot Side Execution Group is a synchronized hardware system engineered for high-velocity exhaust flow and surgical boost control. This group is designed to eliminate the common mismatch between high-displacement exhaust energy and turbine efficiency, providing the thermal and pneumatic stability required for engines operating in the 800hp to 1000hp range.
Component Architecture
1. Artec Performance V-Band Manifold The foundation of the hot side system. Constructed from investment-cast 347 stainless steel, this manifold is designed for zero-deflection during extreme thermal cycles.
-
Dual 44/45mm Ports: Specifically optimized for dual-gate bypass authority to prevent boost creep.
-
Material Science: Superior heat retention and maximum resistance to stress-cracking under sustained high-load conditions.
-
Flow Geometry: High-velocity runner design to maximize transient response and reduce turbo lag.
2. Precision 6870 Gen2 CEA Turbocharger The primary compression logic of the system. The 6870 Gen2 features a Competition Engineered Aerodynamics (CEA) compressor wheel for massive air-flow capacity in a compact frame.
-
68mm Compressor: Rated for 1100hp+ overhead.
-
Dual Ceramic Ball Bearing: Provides near-instant spool-up and high thrust-load capacity.
-
V-Band Housing: Facilitates 360-degree clocking for flexible integration and ease of maintenance.
3. Dual 44mm/45mm External Wastegates The pressure bypass authority. Managing the exhaust energy of high-performance engines requires high-volume bypass logic.
-
Dual-Gate Configuration: Necessary for maintaining a flat boost curve at high RPM and preventing over-boost.
-
Actuator Logic: High-temperature reinforced diaphragms ensure reliability and precision during high-heat operation.
-
Serviceability: V-band architecture for fast clocking and simplified maintenance.
Technical Synergy
By integrating these three components, the Hot Side Execution Group ensures that turbine pressure and manifold flow are perfectly balanced. This system significantly reduces backpressure and exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), protecting internal valvetrain components while delivering the linear power delivery required for professional-level performance applications.
